  • 100/20Mbit is roughly ten times faster than traditional broadband which makes it great for watching high quality TV on demand, video calls, Youtube and anything else that requires a fast connection. If you have multiple users, plan to upload a lot or want even faster downloads the 200/100Mbit plan is twice as fast again and has five times the upload speed.

What if you go over your data cap?

No problem. You can either have your internet connection slow down when you reach your data cap, or you can choose Flat Rate and have no data cap to worry about.

  • Your internet connection slows down to about three times dial up speed (128kbit) when you reach your traffic cap, and you don’t incur any more charges.
  • You’ll remain at full speed all month and have no data cap to worry about. The connection is covered by our flat rate fair use policy.
The small print:

Inspire Net has a fair use policy on its flat rate plans. We define this as a situation where, in our opinion, the cost of providing the service(s) greatly exceeds the price that the service is being sold for. In these situations, we reserve the right to contact you to discuss alternative options, or to exit the service early, by giving you 30 days’ notice and we will not enforce any early disconnect penalty. Any charges for hardware not returned will still stand as per your contract with Inspire Net.
We currently measure our fair use policy level at an amount of traffic per month that is 10 times what an average user on a flat rate plan uses. As of the date of these terms and conditions, the traffic level that we would deem to be non-viable and to initiate a discussion was 3000Gbytes.

What type of connection do you need?

  • If you’re currently getting fibre services from another ISP, please choose this option. A $25 setup fee applies without a 12 month contract.
    The small print:

    Please note that Ultra Fast is not available in all areas. While all connections are subject to a feasibility study at the time you apply to ensure suitability, we cannot be completely sure of availability until the connection is live. A transfer of an existing UFB connection usually takes place up to ten working days after the order has placed, however please allow for delays of two to three days in times of high demand.

    Our 12 month term contract option without VoIP: there is no installation fee for a new transfer on a 12 month contract. An early disconnection fee of $99 applies if you disconnect within the 12 month term period.

    No term contract option without VoIP: there is an installation fee of $25 for a transfer without a 12 month term contract. There is no early disconnection fee if you choose to disconnect at any time.

    With VoIP we offer a 12 month contract with no installation fee, with an early disconnection fee of $99.

  • A new fibre connection with wiring is installed for $49. If you have a shared driveway or live in a multiple dwelling unit, give us a call on 0800 484 363 as this type of connection requires a slightly different process with our supplier.

    Our standard $49 fee is for standard installs to single dwelling premises. If your install will be more than $49 we will contact you before proceeding.

Our fibre service is intended to replace your existing phone wiring. Unlike traditional copper, mains power is required to run the devices you need to connect to the service and the router is one such device. You will also need to ensure that any devices you have that rely on a phone connection, such as a St John medical alarm or a monitored alarm system, will work over an internet connection. If you have these kind of alarm devices, or something similiar, and you’re not sure about this type of installation, call us on 0800 484 363.

Add a Voice over IP phone line

Inspire does not offer traditional POTS (plain old telephone service), but if you still require a phone land line, we can deliver this over your Internet connection with us. You can keep your old phone number, and also get lots of modern features like voice mail and caller ID on your phone all as part of the standard service.

The important part:
Inspire Voice is a phone service which, unlike a traditional phone service, requires a working internet connection and mains power to function. We therefore do not guarantee that our service will always be available and advise customers to have a separate voice service (e.g. landline or mobile) and/or a battery backup for emergency calls. Many services, such as monitored alarm systems and medical alerts, will not function over VOIP. If you have any services that rely on a phone line we strongly suggest contacting your services provider to confirm whether their service can be adapted to work over our internet connection.

With our Voice over IP and term contract plans, we supply you an Inspire router that connects your broadband and also runs your Voice over IP phone line, if required. This router is a device that we have extensively tested to work with our service, and we maintain it for the entire time you are an Inspire customer. Renting your router provides an ongoing warranty and quick replacements at no cost.
An additional fee of $200 inc GST applies if not returned in reasonable condition when cancelling your services with Inspire Net.
