Almost monthly newsletter. Easter 2025

It’s been another busy start to the year at Inspire Net and doesn’t look to be letting up anytime soon.

We have hired two new additional Helpdesk Agents that are starting with us this month to ensure our great customer service continues with the increasing demand.

Our Fibre build program around the Colyton area is progressing (slowly, certainly not as fast as we wanted) with the bulk of the main underground work from Ashhurst to Feilding completed. Our Cabinet is live in the new subdivision and we will soon start running our duct into Taonui Road, to complete the houses in Colyton village, and down to houses in Reids Line.
We are a little behind on getting Fibre laid up to houses and connections live due to the never-ending demand on resources, but we are anticipating catching up on this over the next couple of months.
We are continuing our upgrade program on many of our wireless sites, along with a new purpose-built tower design, using a reworked shipping container for generator, solar and battery banks to provide additional capacity for our growing network, to improve the resiliency and allow for future expansion and technologies.
The upgrading and moving of Rural Wireless customers over onto the Inspire Network is progressing but we still have a large number to get too over the coming months. Many of these customers have been or will be able to move onto our Fibre Network where it is available and we are working through these as we progress our Fibre build out.

We are proud to sponsor!

The Kimbolton Sculpture Festival on April 5th in the Kimbolton Domain. A great Family event.

Inspire Net recently sponsored the connectivity at the Rural Games in the Square that was held in March.
We also sponsored connectivity at the Blazing Hills Run/Walk/Obstacle event in the Ruapehu District.

Useful stuff!

  • With the tough economic times still impacting everyone we are noticing more customers not paying their accounts on time. Following up on these, means our team are diverted away from helping customers to account maintenance, which we prefer not to have to do. We have implemented some more automation to account maintenance so you may find your account automatically locked if it’s not paid on time. This frees up our staff to keep helping customers and not having to chase up others. We don’t like locking accounts but we are a small local provider and this has a huge impact on our ongoing success. Sometimes people have changed plans and have forgotten to update their Automatic payment. Direct Debit is another good option to prevent missing payments. It’s also worth checking if you are on the correct plan. If you are unsure, please give us a call and we can check for you.

  • Are any of your family members visiting during the Easter break? It’s also School Holiday time again! Do you require an increase in your data allowance? If yes, give us a call and we can arrange it.

  • Did you know you can pay your bill online via our website? Feel free to give us a call if you need a hand, or would like your login details refreshed.

  • We are currently having a new website created to better reflect our growing business, keep an eye out for this arriving late May!
